Hi, I have a huge problem I want to go to Toronto this saturday August 2nd for the Toronto Caribana, Im only going for the day.  I checked megabus.com to buy a round trip tickets  and  the cheapest price is 150$. Does anyone know of the existence of a rideshare service similar to Allostop that may go to Ottawa? I did a little search in the archives and didn`t seem to see anything. I like the idea of ridesharing but not nessarily unverified (i.e. safetywise) and may need to go there quite a bit in the future.

I've posted an ad in the ride share section of CraigsList, and I've gotten about five or six responses from people who'd be interested in sharing a rental with me. I'm hoping to find a ride to Boston for U.S. Thanksgiving (weekend of Nov. 25) Ideally, leaving Thursday late morning, returning Sunday. Anybody headed that way? I'd pitch in for gas and provide snacks. Really, really good snacks.
